Here we have a great one off handmade chess table made with approx 4.5cm solid ash and walnut squares. The squares are raised just above the border & the whole board lifts off the base & there is a little storage underneath for pieces etc. The base is a combination of veneered & solid walnut & its all finished with several coats of a durable clear lacquer. please have a good look at the photos.
